I don’t think it is an accident that Silicon Valley became the mother lode of high-tech innovation. It was the proximity to two of the greatest engineering colleges in the world — Stanford and University of California-Berkley — that provided the intellectual capital that created some of the greatest fortunes in the world. The city of Xian, which is the home to over 100 colleges that produce more engineers than any other city in China, is filled with opportunities that could make Silicon Valley look lame.
Best wishes,
Tony
