Market update from Bangkok …

Larry Edelson | June 25, 2009

Hi there! I just arrived in Bangkok, Thailand — my home away from home. I’ll be in Asia for the next few months scouring out opportunities for you and reporting from the front lines about this dynamic part of the world that is truly still growing and showing signs of emerging much quicker from the economic crisis than any other region.

Best wishes,

Larry

Hi Larry, I find your video updates helpful and informative. Do you see higher prices for gold & silver beginning in the fall?

Larry,

You once mentioned an extremely interesting point – that all asset classes over a 40 year period correlate to inflation. This seems to be a highly significant point. So is the point of investing to ride the differences between asset classes before this becomes true?

Larry—

Thanks for finally getting us back on board! (Those of us who couldn’t play your videos for the last month or two.)

My computer geek son says you guys would do well to use html 5 video element, which is the future of web browsing, and works well with browsers Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Opera which your clients may be using, and only requires the use of this script by your internet techs: , instead of a whole page of goofy script.

I am also a subscriber to Contraian Millionaire and he is totally negative, totally opposite of you and you were on his initial startup. What should I do. DJIA target of 9000 to 10000 is just not good for my short ETF’s. Thanks Terry Crist……….long time REal Wealth Subscriber.

Larry Edelson and Martin Weiss have not been on the same timing page over the past few months. It almost seems like the Weiss team wants to have it both ways. The Million Dollar contrarian portfolio is suffering due to poor timing. And Edelson, while his projections on the DOW rising have been good until recently, does little to inspire confidence since his weekly videocasts are fairly vague in regard to corrections, pullbacks, etc. I sometimes wonder about these guys. However, so far Martin has called the economic crisis pretty darn well. I will go with him based on his recent macro success until his predictive record falters in a big way.

Confusing aspects to the reports from Uncommon Wisdom leave me wondering. Larry says wait, Sean says buy gold now. Larry sends a report saying he will notify us when to jump in and then sends a report referencing Sean’s gold report. It is all very confusing. Please add your name to the emails you send out from uncommon wisdom so that we can know exactly whose recommendations we are about to read. If you say wait on gold until YOU tell us to jump in, wouldn’t it be better to say “now is the time” and make it from you, Larry? Just MHO.
Thanks for listening.
