G-20 Meeting Dominates …

Larry Edelson | April 2, 2009

The important G-20 meeting starts today in London. I consider it one of the most important market events since the 1933 World Economic and Monetary Conference at the bottom of the Great Depression.

Best,

Larry

Thank you Larry for your level headed thoughts and wisdom.
I would like to buy some gold but it is so expensive. If I knew
it was going up 15% or more over the next twelve months I would buy more.

My biggest concern is the G20 will change either dollar to another medium for the world currency or just as bad to devaluate the dollar to a lower level. Either way it will reak havoc in the American Economy. I am an insurance agent and I advise people to buy guaranteed index annuity to safeguard their income but what I fear is that insurance companies could fail if the commerial bonds that most of their money is placed in start to fail.

As a Christian I am not afraid because I know what the Bible teaches but at the same time I do not want to be a hypocrite to advise people to do things that I am losing confidence in.

Thanks again Larry,

John Saputo

This article seems to be in conflict with your view:

G20 not ready yet for new world currency debate

Dear Larry
I have followed your writings for 4 years and trust your opinion and judgment. Mr Crooks, a member of your group, opines that the US dollar will come out ahead due to the USA’s ultimate strength, etc. This appears anti to your sentiment for our dollar with your and Martin’s view by supporting ultrashort long term treasuries, etc. and dollar bears recommendations. Now the G-20 summit? Can you rectify my confusion. Thanks.

Larry,
If a new world currency is established in a few years….you showed the numbers for the price of Gold…..Will silver follow the same path? I am also holding some silver….

Larry, I find your videos very informative and presented in a way that I can better understand the glut of info I get from watching cable TV news. Your newsletter with stock recommendations is of interest to me. Please forward subscription info to my email address.
Also, I purchased the inverse ETFs on Feb 17/18 that were recommended in the Feb. Weiss Safe Money Report. I am monitoring the alert site and find that they are still a ‘hold’. I am a novice at this, and it might be my ignorance, but I am concerned as the market continues to escalate. I guess I don’t understand the inverse position very well. I’d like some guidance and a hint as to what to expect from them in the future. I have called the Weiss 800 number, but they simply say watch the alerts. Thanks.

Your videos used to work fine but about a week ago they stopped working. I don’t know of any changes on my end that would cause this.

I love listening to you….you sound like a preacher I heard years ago talking about a one world government and a one world currency…things are changing…we need a world leader to get us out of this mess.
